OFW Maltreated In Kuwait Passes Away

An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Kuwait has been reported to pass away due to a heart attack.

According to reports, Teresa Quedding, a domestic helper in Kuwait, was a victim of maltreatment by her employers.

Reshiel Taquil, the victim’s stepdaughter, reported that her death was due to a heart attack according to the medical certificate they received.

The sad story does not stop there.

According to Taquil, the victim’s body was only placed in plastic when it was sent back to the Philippines.

The family immediately had the body undergo autopsy, believing that Quedding was murdered instead of what the certificate reported.

Quedding’s family will pursue a case against Jabrah Al-Khaldy Manpower Recruitment Agency, the agency that handled Quedding’s employment.

Teresa Quedding was 38 years old when she passed away.
