• Content
It contains carbocisteine 500mg per capsule.

• Indications
It is used for the relief of cough characterized by excessive or sticky sputum or phlegm which is present in cases like acute or chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). They are also used in the treatment of otitis media with effusion and glue ear.

• Dosage and Administration

Adults & Children over 12 years:  Take 1 capsule every 8 hours or as directed by a doctor. It should be taken with food.

• Contraindications
Do not use the drug if there is known hypersensitivity to its contents and in patients with active stomach or intestinal ulcer.

• Side Effects
Patient may experience undesirable effects such as nausea, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, skin rashes, dizziness, insomnia, headache, mild hypoglycemia, palpitations, dry mouth, flatulence and abnormal heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation).
